to join our Swiss Team!  This position is a full-time position located in our Frauenfeld regional office.

The Customer Service representative (CSR) will handle incoming customer phone calls, enter or modify customer orders, track existing shipments, confirm deliveries and handle other similar inquiries.  The CSR is responsible for being the “face of Eminess” to our customers by portraying the appropriate image and supporting our Brand Promise.  As our primary customer interface, the CSR must have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and be able to respond appropriately and quickly to customer inquiries. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming customer inquiries, via phone and email
  • Process orders in Fourth Shift (ERP) in accordance with ETI Rapid Response Protocol
  • Provide price quotes to customers and engage in proactive quote follow-up
  • Accurately setup new customers using ETI systems
  • Work closely with Inside Sales team for the appropriate handling of new customer inquiries, quotation requests, and sample requests
  • Maintain close contact with all sales reps (inside and outside) on customer issues
  • Work closely within the US - North Carolina Supply Chain group to determine the feasibility of customer delivery requests, expedite requests, or shipping changes.
  • Support procurement activities by placing purchase orders to meet supply/inventory needs.A successful candidate will be versatile and willing to support supply chain as needed.
  • Processing customer concerns and complaints using our quality management system


  • Customer service experience in a manufacturing environment(1-3 years preferred)
  • Experience with using an ERP system to enter, process and track orders
  • Experience with shipping methods, Incoterms, and international shipping
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to problem solve and “think on your feet” to provide excellent customer service
  • Solid understanding of transactions, business processes and systems to make decisions that best serve the customer
  • Experience in Supply Chain (purchasing and planning) is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Required languages:  Fluent German and Business English both written and verbal, good knowledge of French
