Embedded Software Engineer Subproject Lead Hardware
Part of the proprietary embedded software platform development for complex automation solutions in collaboraton with external partners and the global Bühler team. Subproject lead of the proprietary hardware embedded control platform development - defines and decides on the complete embedded hardware system with all its components, modules and interfaces. Implements platform improvements with the team and internal and external partners. When making decisions always with the thoughts of the complete devOps cycle of an embedded system (hardware and software) in mind. Creation and management of the hardware backlog in close connection with the product owner in terms of priorities and feature requests. Cascade the development roadmap in close cooperation with the Software project manager. Participation in the Scrum Meetings. Development of production data handling, ICT or function tests in cooperation with the electronic suppliers to guarantee a high hardware quality as well as responsibility for hardware certifications e.g. EMC. You are the main contact person for hardware topics and questions of the Business Units.
Bachelor of Science (Electronic Engineering, Software Development or related subject) Minimum 5 years industrial experience in Embedded Hardware development Good Linux and C/C++ knowledge Must have worked with all stages of the product lifecycle (including obsolescence management) High standard of spoken and written English essential, fluent in German preferable Teamplayer with the ability to work independently
