We are looking for a Technical Service Manager with focus on polymer and/or rubber-elastomers industry. Key aspects are the introduction of our products to our customers, as well as supporting existing products and their continuous improvements in polymer applications. Furthermore, this position will contribute to the development of new solutions and products in the relevant business area.
This requires technical support at the production sites of our customers, together with recommending the right choices of formulations and production equipment, as well as good contacts to machine and raw material producers. The technical service manager will organize and overview testing in Omya laboratories and processing centres, coordinate technical activities within the company at a global level and be an important member of innovation teams.
Furthermore, the technical service group is the centre of excellence for polymer applications within Omya. The team members therefore provide trainings and workshops to Omya employees and customers. Finally, it is important to participate in relevant international conferences and fairs as well as contributing to relevant publications and the network with academia.
