You own the end-to-end technical responsibility for compressor system concept design within customer projects, ensuring alignment with contractual, safety, and engineering requirements. In global projects, you act as the main technical authority towards the customer and oversee overall technical progress. Beyond individual projects, you provide system-level technical leadership across projects, ensuring consistent system behavior, aligned interfaces, and resolution of escalated technical issues. Your future daily work routine: Leads the technical planning of several challenging global projects in parallel Defines and develops the mechanical system concept and architecture, including plant design, P&IDs, control philosophies and plant calculations Plans, coordinates and reviews mechanical engineering progress throughout all project phases Represents the mechanical discipline and drives decision making during KOM, HAZOP, SIL and design reviews Acts as the mechanical discipline representative toward clients for technical clarifications Oversees mechanical system engineering activities across a portfolio of projects and ensures harmonized execution approaches, aligned interfaces and consistent application of engineering methods Identifies cross ‑ project synergies, drives reuse of proven solutions and leads initiatives to reduce engineering hours and accessory costs through standardization and modularization Leads technical alignment with key suppliers for high ‑ risk components; approves critical vendor documentation and oversees complex FATs, including non ‑ standard test requirements Supports Sales/Application Engineering during complex bid phases on an exception basis, defining system strategy, risk profile and design boundaries Serves as a mentor for Competence Center, shaping its roadmap and driving standardization, modularization and innovation
