Omya Consumer and Environmental Solutions (CES) is the Omya business segment dedicated to all business activities in Consumer Goods, Agriculture and Environmental applications.
Omya CES is looking for a Technical Service Manager Wastewater, mainly dedicated to the development of its environmental business in Wastewater Treatment.
The CES technical services water team supports the technical implementation of our differentiating solutions at our customer sites through consulting and trials. Main objective is to support our sales development through technical projects with various Industrial and Municipal facilities.
Develop and maintain technical expertise linked to our products and associated applications with a focus on industrial and municipal wastewater treatment.
Provide customer technical support and consulting services.
Coordinate technical projects, pilot- and full-scale demonstration trials together with Omya customers or distribution partners, to switch to Omya technology and thereby improve overall customer process performance, safety and sustainability aspects.
Work with customers, R&D and engineering teams to evaluate the performance of new applications or products.
Develop customer and distributor relationships with key production and technical personnel and provide tailored trainings.
Work closely with our sales department to grow our business and achieve our overall business targets.
Participate in fairs and conferences, to improve visibility of our technology portfolio.
Degree in a related technical field (e.g. environmental/process/ chemical/mechanical engineering, chemistry, life sciences), or technical apprenticeship with 3+ years of practical experience.
3+ years of experience in chemical or biological wastewater treatment
Practical experience one or several of the following fields is advantageous: Automation and process control, fluid transport systems, commissioning, analytics and lab management.
A profound understanding of water chemistry and water treatment processes is mandatory.

Customer focus, profound presentation skills and the ability to effectively communicate in project teams of diverse cultural and professional background in a dynamic environment.
Project management skills with a proven track record of successful execution of complex projects.
Proficiency in English (both written and oral) is required, additional languages (German, French) are a plus
Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% (predominantly in Europe)
Location in Switzerland at Omya HQ in Oftringen is preferred.
